The first storyline in this series rockets to a conclusion in the much the same manner it has operated from the beginningstrong character work, highoctane action, and an anything goes approach to storytelling. Jim McCann pulls a major shocker here that completely changes the game for this series and the art team led by David Lopez makes it look fantastic. The saga with the Slades and their integration in the lives of Hawkeye and Mockingbird has made for an intense read. This comic has been one of my very favorite books over the past five months. It has consistently delivered surprises and excitement. Each issue has had a line or two of chuckle-worthy dialog, a gasp-worthy surprise and lots of fantastic art. The exorcism stuff with Jaime was also kind of hokey, but besides those little quibbles, I enjoyed everything else about this comic, and I'll be looking forward to seeing what happens now that it appears Hawkeye and Mockingbird are headed for splitsville(again!). Read Full Review
