There isn't much writing, but do you really think that this art is bad? I think it's a good fusion of realistic and comic art.
"Peace in our Time" Part 1 of 4
Bruce Banner has finally found a semblance of peace. Here, in the isolated interior of Alaska, he hopes to protect the rest of humanity from The Hulk's never-ending rampage by secluding himself in self-imposed exile. Banner is confident that his plan will work-after all, who would be foolish enough to actually come looking for The Hulk? But when Nick Fury comes calling, you know there's trouble for someone involved. This arc sets up next year's huge event involving a certain Jade Giant.
In The End: A neat little Hulk tale. While this was a set-up, it was an entertaining issue on its own. Way's writing and Cha's art created a really solid story. The only reason it didn't get a higher rating was the circumstances that involved Bruce turning into the Hulk, which may be a personal thing but I have to go with how I feel. Despite this, I am looking forward to the rest of the story arc and am excited to see what Way does with the Hulk. Read Full Review
Are you guys serious? This is much better, than previous arc... Artwork is awesome, Hulk with the beard is so cool... The story is simple, but it's just a story set-up. Hulk against rapists scene was brilliant. Action isn't always cool, but this action definitely is. Actually, it's more like 7.5 for me, but after the House of M it feels even better. Such a relief...
A bit done there, been that… wait…
Bad. Bad bad bad bad bad bad. I had no clue what was going on. The art is confusing. The writing is confusing. Greg Pak saved this series because Daniel Way would have drove it to the grave
