INHUMANITY TIE-IN! – "THE HUMANITY BOMB" CHAPTER TWO! Which one of Banner's lab assistants has fallen to the Terrigen Mists--and how has it changed them? HULK vs. IRON MAN and the X-MEN'S BEAST for the fate of the world!
All in all, this is certainly isnt a bad issue, just a bit of an odd one, what with the time distorting explosion and the title character being a bit of a non-presence (except through narration) for a significant section of the story. If anything, what it seems to me that this issue probably is, is a slight valley between a very exciting previous issue and a potentially very interesting next issue. Read Full Review
"Indestructible Hulk" #27 ends with a cliffhanger as one of the Banner's kooky quartet is cocooned by the effects of the Terrigen bomb, giving Waid a chance to surprise readers before drawing Hulk's involvement with "Inhumanity" to a close. While it would have been easy for some writers presented with these same pieces to write a Hulk-free issue and focus on the Inhumanity of it all, Waid balances everything nicely and even delivers a "Hulk smash" moment for his readers.
