STARK: RESILIENT PART 2 The Hammer Girls unleash Detroit Steel on a world hardly ready for that much metal and chrome, and God help anyone that gets in his way.
Anybody who's enjoyed the movies and hoped to see more of that particular vibe reflected in the comics will thoroughly enjoy this. It perfectly captures that mix of real world grounding and flawed human charm, without sacrificing anything from the comics' history. And I'll say again how cool this liquid armor is... it's great to still see concepts in these comics that the movies can't tackle! This is an excellent "jumping on issue" and one of the best books I've read this week, right along with Deadpool. Read Full Review
The third year of Invincible Iron Man rockets into the future with a new purpose, a different angle, and yes, a different Iron Man upgrade. While the core of the series is still recognizable, I'm having fun getting to know the "new" man inside the armor as much as the armor itself. Read Full Review
Fractions work on this book has been a breath of fresh air after years of a very overbearing Tony in the Brainiac 5 genius/dick mode, giving us a much more accessible character whose motivations are understandable. The story is moving a long, and little details behind Tonys new armor are starting to leak out, but again Fraction and company arent exactly breaking storytelling ground here. Its a good story though, and worth revisiting. Hopefully, well get to some real action soon. With War Machine slated to appear next issue, we most likely will. Read Full Review
"Invincible Iron Man" has captured my attention for over two years now, and that's far longer than any past "Iron Man" team has managed.
