    Radioactive Man is punished by the Mandarin for allowing Iron Man to destroy his equipment shipment in Hong Kong. Iron Man is lured to the Mandarin's secret mountain base in Red China by a giant hologram of himself. Iron Man succumbs to the Mandarin's power rings, & his will is taken over. Mandarin then orders the helmetless Rhodey to cut his throat with a sword. (Cover date: March, 1984)
