A surprisingly good introduction to a character that would maybe seem silly, at least to me. This issue stands out thanks to Kim's wonderful character work and awesome presentation of the Juggernaut's lore. The artwork finds some really good sweet spots, especially in flashbacks. Kid Juggernaut #1 tells an excellent origin story that could have lingered a bit longer in its moral complexity. Still, it's a fantastic comic for young readers and a promising start for Marvel's newest hero. Read Full Review
I don’t mind more diverse heroes, or even derivative ones like Kid Juggernaut, if they are well written and drawn. Not everything has to be innovative if it’s entertaining and well executed. However, this book has some of the most clumsy writing and amateurish art I have ever seen. Marvel will not gain any new readers if they continue producing crap like this.
