Stephanie Phillips keeps the stakes high and the story moving, while finding an unexpectedly compelling angle on Bullseye and his appetite for danger. Madibek Musabekov gives the action weight with heavy shadows and strong renditions of each character's classic look. Star-Lord, Nova, and Jack of Hearts could use a little more individual attention, but the limited character work is understandable given the one-shot's pace. It's a quick read, but also an entertaining reminder of just how strange and varied Marvel's roster can be. Read Full Review

Plot
This comic tells the story of how Thanos hires Bullseye to carry out an assassination with cosmic consequences that only Star-Lord, Nova, and Jack of Hearts can neutralize.
The story successfully celebrates the 50th anniversary of these four characters: Jack of Hearts, Nova, Star-Lord, and Bullseye.
Although their paths are often very different and difficult to cross, the script manages to bring them together organically and seamlessly.
