A bit of the human dialogue is clumsy, and the visual storytelling breaks down once or twice. Those nitpicks aside, though, this is a charming, rollicking adventure with a rare perspective. The previous issue's pacing problems are resoundingly solved. This is thoroughly satisfying and definitely a good comic. Plus: Bats the Ghost Dog, hooray! A surprising and entirely welcome addition to the squad.
