All in all, I was happy with this year's Marvel's Voices: Pride. Some stories had deeply meaningful messages, while others remind us of the rich tapestry of queer characters Marvel has fostered, added, or grown in recent years. There's nothing wrong with stories that act as pure celebrations or ones that are meant to generate excitement about a character or a series. But Marvel Voices: Pride 2023 #1just doesn't feel like it knew how to do either very well. Read Full Review
If you want good superhero stories, don't bother with this. It's feel good gay stories to make queer people feel proud. Nothing wrong with that but it ain't good superhero storytelling. Fluff. DC's pride issue was much better.
