Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is definitely a comic you should be reading by now. Should you start at The Smartest Girl There Is! Part 5: X Equals? No. You should probably start at the very beginning if you havent been reading Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. Its a tale about a girl striving for acceptance, living in a world thats constantly telling her how she should act and what she should be. Its about a girl insecure with how people see her and her need to prove herself. Its a story about a girl and her time traveling dinosaur. You should definitely read this. Read Full Review
Hilarious, creatively plotted and infinitely endearing, this book is the poster child for Marvel doing right by their ever-growing pantheon of millennial superheroes. Read Full Review
This is a decent issue that makes up for what it lacks in strong writing with a campy and fun aesthetic. Read Full Review
With a little superfluous X-Man assistance, Lunella figures out she's facing transdimensional Doombots. The X-Men cameos are cute, but a bit forced. The art is a high point, as usual, and clarifying the nature of Lunella's opposition for this arc is very satisfying. I also think there are promising signs here that the "having friends is a good thing" message of all these team-ups is, at last, getting through to Lunella.
