    AIPT - David Brooke Nov 12, 2025

New Avengers #6 is a chaotic, character-driven blast that proves dysfunction can be just as entertaining as heroics. Sam Humphries keeps the banter biting and the surprises coming, while Ton Lima and Rain Beredo's art brings polish and flair to every page. Between the wild team dynamics, steamy moments, and new villains entering the fray, it's another reminder that this book thrives on beautiful chaos. Read Full Review

Comic Watch - Jamison Nilsson Nov 13, 2025

New Avengers #6 continues to build on the plot threads established in the previous 5 issues, beginning a new stage of the same overarching story. The sixth issue of New Avengers brings out more of the characters personalities and pushes the story forward with an interesting cast of villains that are sure to entertain in future issues. My recommendation: if you have been following the current New Avengers run by Sam Humphries so far, I recommend adding New Avengers #6 to your collection. Read Full Review

I thoroughly enjoy the concept and execution of the Killuminati, the cast is great, I'm just not certain I love the actual story that serves as the foundation here. The art is ok, the writing is great. I'd love for the Killuminati to be a long term addition to the Marvel villains roster, but I highly doubt they'll stick around after this story.

I like the Killuminati concept but this is definitely a comic where characterization takes a back seat. With only a couple of exceptions, everyone talks with the same generic quippy dialogue that the MCU popularized. (Clea's the worst)
