Hmmmm. Is there a subtle sense of irony at play here, or is it just bad plotting? I can no longer tell. And at least the art is easy on the eyes. Read Full Review

Meaningless issue. No reason for the Illuminati intervene with this single person who's not even a danger anymore. Also, their motivation to him is to just make him "New York superhero #517"? The beginning of the issue was fun but the shallowness of the issue combined with the cover only being a reference to that (fun but)meaningless conversation in the beginning makes me think that Bendis and Reed didn't really knew what to do. Looks like just a filler issue. I know eventually both will write Marvel Boy so if the plan was to setup them doing something with him, they should have done a better job.
