New Warriors #5 took some interesting turns while still delivering several moments that got me outright laughing. I'm a fan of the title so far and I can't wait to see what this team does with it in the future. Recommended. Read Full Review
New Warriors #5 does a decent job of holding the fort and setting up future plot points. Beyond that, though, it struggles to make an impact. Who are the Warriors now? the opening page of the title continues to ask. Well, we aren't yet sure. We're beginning to find out, of course " but the creative team might need to take a bit more care that readers don't get bored of waiting for the answer. Read Full Review
This is the issue that turned me on this series from enjoying myself to reacting vocally to some scenes. Characters and plot and tones are all spot on.
Really, really good stuff.
this series is good,, but the sped-up pacing really hurts thios story, I like how they interact, but establishing the dynamics of a team like this in just one issue is a bit of a mistake
