As I said above, this is a pretty poor outing from a storytelling perspective. I feel perfectly justified in suggesting readers skip this issue unless they're diehard fans. That doesn't change my long term opinion of this series though. It's still one of the best titles Marvel puts out every month, but this issue was definitely an exception to that statement. I've always enjoyed the character of Nova. I just think his solo book is losing steam. Here's hoping the upcoming War of Kings event will breathe some new life into this book. Read Full Review
Nova as a series is slightly more underwhelming when on Earth but I will say that Abnett and Lanning are never afraid to shake things up as Richard is stripped of his Nova powers on the last page
