This issue was OK, but it kind of left me wanting something more. Something seemed just a bit off here... Maybe it was the "War of Kings" tie-in stuff, but I just didn't enjoy this issue as much as I usually enjoy this series. Oh well, there's always next month. Read Full Review

Oh, so back to the Nova review. It was a solid issue and it left me wanting to read the next one. That’s what a good comic should do. I’m giving it a B-. It was really good, but not awesome. Once again, a ton happens in Nova 23. As the Kree/Shi’ar war begins, Worldmind, Ego, and the Nova Corps depart from Earth to go stop the war. Project: PEGASUS is shut down by Norman Osborn’s HAMMER. Luckily, Dr Necker was able to smuggle Quasar out before Hammer arrived. We learn about Dr Necker this issue, as it’s revealed she’s an agent of AIM while trying to save Richard’s life. Richard feels understandably betrayed and refuses Dr Necker’s help, as they share a kiss. Dr Necker gives Richard Quasar’s vale. Not wanting it to get in the wrong hands after he dies, Richard destroys the vale and frees Quasar. Realizing Richard is dying, Quasar gives Richard his quantum bands, which saves his life and transforms him into the all-n more
