RATED T+
Savage Spider-Man goes to some more interesting places in issue #4 than it has in the past. Read Full Review
Peter's transformation into Spock-Spidey gives this story some of the clarity it sorely lacked in past issues. The basic premises of the Immaculatum are still mighty dumb, but the latest plot twists are smarter.
The art remains decent but frustrating. Gerardo Sandoval has a well-defined personal style and he executes it with great confidence. But his art isn't the best visual storytelling tool, and visual clarity is vital in a story like this where the writer tends to wander off into the tall grass.
I still wouldn't call this good, but this issue is much better than the last few.
...must... ignore... tilted... panels...
Nope, can't do it, again a completely unreadable issue (I forgot what I had read as soon as I closed the book), for 100% caused by the Terrible Tilted Layouts.
I _did_ ask you to stop doing that, didn't I? ;-P
