Kaine goes head to head with the Hand and Bruiser!Come celebratethe conclusion of Scarlet Spider’s First wonderful year with Chris Yost and Reilly Brown!
This issue was a definite palette cleanser after Minimum Carnage, possibly for writer Christopher Yost as well. I definitely got the sense that he used this issue to re-establish his character and his cast and put all that Microverse nonsense behind him. And I am definitely glad for that. Read Full Review
Yost continues to impress me with his writing abilities. To be brutally honest when they first announced Scarlet Spider as a series I all but dismissed it. This is the perfect jumping on point after the events of 'Minimum Carnage' and pretty much feels like Kaine 101. But I enjoyed this issue, Kaine finally feeling like he has a home and having friends is a great step in the right direction for him, and Christ Yost, a man who's writing I didn't care for a year ago, has made me a fan thanks to his great job on this series. This is probably my favorite Spider title besides the main book, and that's saying something considering how many there are! Read Full Review
