I'm normally not a fan of holiday issues, but Spider-Man/Deadpool #12 managed to make my shriveled heart grow three-sizes today"or maybe that's just some indigestion. Either way, it's a great issue that deserves a place on your pull list or under your Christmas tree. Read Full Review

A bit more unique than your standard holiday themed issue, Spider-Man/Deadpool #12 delivers a one-shot that highlights both the positive and the negative aspects of this title's unique structure. Read Full Review

With the collaboration of Marvel's funniest superheroes and action from the feisty Roman god, SPIDER-MAN/DEADPOOL #12 is a fun issue to read. It's action-packed, hilarious, and light-hearted at the same time. Thus, it's perfect for the holiday season. Also, I like Saturn more than Santa now since the former is much more interesting. It was comedic, action packed and bloody wrapped up neat for the holidays. What is not to love. Honestly, it was a great read. Scheer and Giovannetti have a knack for this comedic action adventure writing and should really consider taking up the helm of Spider-Man/Deadpool. The art was decent it could have been a little bit more graphic but it is what it is and it was nice. Read it you;ll love it.

I can't believe I'm giving a Christmas issue 9/10, but this surprised me with how much fun it was! Most Holiday issues are a write-off, but this had me smiling all the way through, from Deadpool's gift for Hawkeyes and riff on Banner, to the tender Christmas friendship moments between Deadpool and Spidey. This team-up is full of Saturnalia mirth!

[ART: 9.1 | STORY: 7 | WRITING: 7.8 | TOTAL: 7.8 (~8)] I liked it. Art was solid, writing was witty and the story was decent. A lot of characters acted out of character and that irked me, but it's not a big deal as it really is just a bit of fun. Probably the best guest issue in the series.

I was a bit scared after issue 11 that this series was starting to slide, but I'm happy to report it was a blip. This Christmas (sorry - Saturnalia!) themed issue is a lot of fun, and my girlfriend's vacuum cleaner is in it. Seriously, Cap has her vacuum cleaner.
