Joe Kelly and Ed McGuinness end their run with a bang (as well as a few biffs and pows for good measure). While the execution is a little shaky, ultimately the issue delivers one of Marvel's most satisfying and fully realized endings this side of "Death of Spider-Man." Read Full Review

If Itsy Bitsy had been a more compelling threat, this issue would have been even greater. But even a lackluster villain can't pull this one down too far. Read Full Review

Itsy Bitsy was a bad character??? I really thought she was pretty awesome. I really do wish to see more of her. She's sick and sinister and plays off Deadpool and Spider-Man very well. The last story for Kelly, McGuinness, Morales and Leisten was a biggy. The ending was pretty serious. With Deadpool questioning Spider-Man's morality choices. But over all it was action packed fun. I kind of had to repeat the ending because it was a twinge confusing but after my blonde moment passed I was like "cool." Now hoping the new team can keep up the great work of action buffoonery.

Deadpool steps in front of a moral quandary bullet for Spidey, as expected. This story - and Kelly & McGuinness's tenure on the title - wraps up with a solidly above-average conclusion, but I'm not sure true greatness was ever in the cards. In the end, the creators were aiming for a lower mark, and though they hit it with skill, they leave behind a lot of "what could have been" questions. Spidey and Wade are both slotted back into status quo situations, and Itsy Bitsy is left a little too available for future stories. Though it was highly entertaining, this arc is firmly banished to the "let's never speak of this again" realm of barely-canon supplementary stories.
