Writing and story I gave a sold 9, I really enjoyed the fact I wouldn't be super lost, the storyline appears fun and reads as it would be in a Star Wars Movie. The Art was beautiful, my only complaint was some of the faces weren't the style that I like, but realistic to their characters just at times appeared more cartoonish. Which nothing wrong with that at all, just not my preference. It's fun, action-packed, colored beautifully book that I will continue to read regardless if I continue reviewing or not. Gillen has some fun with Luke, Han and Leia on the run and their vulnerability makes the issue incredibly entertaining. Read Full Review

The premise is established and the characters are put in place. This is an acceptable start, though the visuals have some questionable moments. A decent issue, but nothing to write home about. Read Full Review

Overall it’s a solid issue that sets up a promising arc. I’m looking forward to seeing SCAR some more and the end of the issue sets up some pretty interesting ideas that seem like will be sticking around for at least most of the arc. I can’t wait to see where Gillen takes the series after this because we know he has a grander story mapped out. I’ve been enjoying the series but I’m starting to get more and more excited about new issues releasing Read Full Review
