Another Star Wars comic that has come and gone. This is a very good read. It is so well put together that you actually feel as if this is a TV series and not a twenty-three-page comic book. You get pieces of joy, sorrow, accomplishment, and defeat. Outside of the action panels in this issue, Han is taken on an emotional roller coaster, and you really feel somewhat bad for him. True Star Wars fans will understand as soon as they read the first couple of pages. Go get this book! You WILL NOT be sorry about this in your collection. And if you're like me and HAVE to have entire collections, go pick up issues one through four while you're at it. Read Full Review

While I enjoyed aspects of this series overall, the way it ends leaves me kind of miffed. That's more on my expectations of it leading into the film than telling its own tale, but the realization that there could be multiple “hunt” storylines just kind of worries me. This wasn't bad in the sense that the writing or artwork was bad, but it just made the character of Han more unlikable, which is incredibly frustrating to watch play out. They're kind of boxed in by events of the film, so there's some leeway there, but the reinforcement of him only feeling like things are right are when he's with his ship just makes it clear how frustrating his life must have been, and for those around him. You can see how others would adjust for it, but there's just such a layer of sadness about the character at this point as we see in his later years that you kind of lose something for him.
