    The StoryAs they prepare to leave so that Mace can return to the Jedi Order with a new fuel source Mace and Azita Cruuz come face to face with The Shroud's leader. Mace and the leader fight a duel where it soon becomes apparent that the Shroud leader has received Jedi training. Soon he taunts Windu with his knowledge of the force claiming that there is no light or dark side. There is only power. Read Full Review

    Marc Bernadin tells an awesome story that weaves together multiple facets of the Star Wars universe and leaves it open ended for more to possibly come. While this appears to be the end for this series, I hope it isn't the full end. Because I truly feel there's a lot of room in the current universe for a Mace Windu story.     Mace Windu is just that odd kind of character where I don't think enough was laid down in the original trilogy for him to work and there's a wariness among many to really dig into it. Samuel L. Jackson was an absolute delight but it's basically him in Jedi robes and it's hard to separate that on some level. Stories like this can help to move past that a bit but there's still not much here that helps to really reshape or properly expand upon the character to breathe new life into it. It's a fairly straightforward adventure that works well enough across four issues but was so by the numbers at times that the predictability makes it worse. There are some interesting ideas around the edges here with the Coaxium and all that, but introducing things as it does in the final issue with the Shroud and hinting there falls short.
