The Comicbook Dispatch - Dispatchdcu Jul 9, 2025

Superior Avengers #4 is a masterclass in slow-burn storytelling. Steve Foxe isnt just writing a team bookhes building a pressure chamber. This isnt about assembling heroes. Its about watching what happens when the wrong people, or maybe just the right people with the wrong motivations, are forced to stay together under a microscope. With betrayals looming, ideologies clashing, and a looming endgame that still feels just out of reach, this issue confirms it: Superior Avengers is Marvels smartest, most politically charged team book in years. I was pleasantly surprised by the plot twist in this issue. Not only Ghost betrayed her teammates, but she has ulterior motivations from them. Also, we finally got origins of some sort for all these characters. The stakes have been increased two fold. I can't wait to see how Steve Foxe is landing this story. Read Full Review

Comic Watch - Theron Couch Jul 9, 2025

Superior Avengers entire creative team are delivering the most straightforward entertaining One World Under Doom tie-in miniseries. Its fun, exciting, and funny. Superior Avengers #4 tones that down in favor of a lot of necessary plot advancement. Foxe paces the issue particularly well, though, and the series doesnt lose any steam as it moves into another big cliffhanger ending. Read Full Review
