Deadpool is not happy. It’s no laughing matter.
While the original excitement of the series has faded a bit, this remains to be a well done title. The plot is running a bit long between the first and second arc's, and the impending departure of Daniel Way looms like a cloud of the title, but this book has enjoyed some great success thus far. The artwork by Noto and Guru eFX is gorgeous, and despite the visually unappealing covers, the inside of this book is terrific. Still definitely worth a pick up. Read Full Review
All in all, this isn't a bad issue, it just feels like the book lost a little bit of its momentum here. Hopefully the creative team will be able to pick it back up sooner rather then later. I'll be sticking with it of course because I'm still of the opinion that eventually this team has to implode, and that's something I don't want to miss. Read Full Review
Daniel Way continues to give us some nice thrilling ride in this issue but this one didn't surpass the previous #08, in my opinion. Phil Noto art seems very consistent and adequate to this comic ( way better than Dillon's) and the colors by GURU eFX continue to be wonderful as always, what could ruin this book back into Dillon's in the first arc was saved by them.
