Now that the Ultimate Enemy has revealed his plan, the heroes of the Ultimate Universe search to discover their enemy's true identity before any more damage can be done. Join the Ultimate heroes on a chase that will take them all over the world and beyond! Superstar creator Brian Michael Bendis and artist sensation Rafa Sandoval continue to thrill in the next segment of the Enemy Trilogy! Rated T $3.99
Rafa Sandoval is quickly distinguishing himself on this trilogy. His work here outclasses even that of Ultimate Enemy, with wide, sweeping vistas and expressive character work. If he could but address the problem of the freaky, unnatural hair on his female characters, Sandoval would be on easy street. Ultimate Mystery is off to a stronger start than its predecessor. All the same, if the plot doesn't move forward quickly in the next issue I can easily see myself growing bored again. Read Full Review
If you have been following the goings on in both Ult. Spidey and Ult. Enemy there is much to like here though, at this point the story could really go anywhere and the potential exists for this to be something really good. Read Full Review
It's a little disheartening to read this because I'm getting shades of how the 2099 line ended up in the 90s. This whole line started with a spirit of modernization and accessibility, only to now be buckling under the weight of its own continuity. It's even got clones, now! If you haven't read the crossover mini-series just prior to this, you're going to be helplessly lost. It all sticks out even more because Bendis isn't doing what he's been doing so well in Ultimate Comics Spider-Man. Read Full Review
Im not sure if this book will be as big, but so far it's a good way of sifting through the ruins of Ultimatum. Hopefully, it too will build a more coherent new status quo before it ends. Read Full Review

Boring. Bendis really doesn't even try to make an effort... The art is fine, but there are 3 pictures from the Ultimate Enemy 4 and I just hate such reuses, it makes me feel it a very secondary comic. Plus I really still can't get a point of this whole event.
