    While Bunn's narrative is good fun and establishes a decent plot moving forward (most notably with Andi), it's really Larraz's artwork which brought this one to the next level for me. He nailed it when it comes to making the symbiote look both formidable and badass and his nights fighting crime (even if it's just one panel) have such a cinematic feel to them. VENOM consistently delivers and you have no good reason not to check it out. This is a superb jumping on point, too. Read Full Review

    All scenes involving Andi end up as the standout examples of the artwork by Pepe Larraz, as she is perfectly sarcastic and disinterested while she skips class only to be looking delightfully mischievous after seeing Flash "venom-out". Lee Loughridge continues as the color artist bringing a bright and colorful feel to school scenes and an almost noir look to the night set-pieces that make up the bulk of the action.     Overall this story is progressively getting better and if there's one thing to take out of Cullen's approach to Venom, it's humanity. Flash's humanity of course and exploring that when the world around him isn't so sane. Read Full Review
