There really isn't much to say about a one-shot filler issue featuring a guest writer and a guest penciler and guest inker. It was a total throwaway issue that you don't really need to bother purchasing unless you are a Wolverine completeist. Read Full Review

It's... A bit weird story... It's a debut Marvel work for both the writer and the artist, so... I think it makes sense it might feel weird at times. But overall it was a rather fine Christmas story.

There's a pretty rough edge to some of the dialogue in the Christmas one-shot. I didn't really like it and found it a bit cynical. The weird cult of elves were kind of fun, I guess. I have similar ambivalence towards the art, but it starts cooking when Wolverine finally shows up in costume. Striking ending that makes up for some of that, though.
