A pretty big bombshell has been dropped in this issue. The sensible part of me wants to immediately dismiss it, as I did the Homo-Lupus angle told before. We may find out next issue that this new development is just a lie or it could become a new fact in Wolverine's past. At this point, I'm ready to give up trying to figure out what really happened in Wolverine's past. Having years of mystery is one thing, getting misdirection every few years is another. At least Bianchi's art gave us a visual treat and seeing the appearance of Cloak and Dagger was nice (even if they didn't have any speaking scenes). I'm not sure what is going to happen in the next issue and I haven't decided if I want to know. Read Full Review
This is one of those comics that just seems to keep going, year after year without anything really changing and having no one really getting excited about it. I would be willing to bet you could pull out an issue from a few years back and it would fit right in to where this issue was. If there was ever a need to reboot a character, I would suggest Wolverine as a prime candidate. Read Full Review
While you might have heard about the game-changing revelations of this issue, I wouldn't think twice about it. You probably won't understand half of what's going on in this book, and the final-page twist is so implausible that it will likely never be mentioned again, let alone used in a future Wolverine storyline. Unless you are a fanatical completist of either Loeb, Bianchi or Wolverine, you'll be better served reading just about anything else. Read Full Review
