Jun 17, 2026This run has been so fun, and it continues to do that with the fourth issue. With the character dynamics at play, the great mystery revealed, and the stakes as high as they’ve been yet, Wonder Man #4 captures the reader in the excitement and doesn’t let go. Read Full Review

Happy to say that this was my favorite issue so far. It’s still far from great, but I still enjoyed it. I do think the direction of the book, particularly the artist situation, is a bit strange (as is the change of logo design on every cover), but that doesn’t impact my ratings of the individual issues themselves. In any case, this was good and I’m hoping, at least, the final issue can close this out as strongly as possible.

Another artist change, this time not for the better. Laura Braga‘s art is - for lack of a better word - very “feminine“. Her style reminds me of Colleen Doran, but it lacks the expressiveness and great anatomy of Doran. The word “lifeless” comes to mind, which is bad, especially in a book that has a sex scene.
The story continues to be fun, but trivial. -
