X-23: Deadly Regenesis #2 is a great sophmore issue is a promising series that is already proving to be a series that will have a big impact on Laura Kinney's character and history. We get a look at the history of Haymaker, an iconic villian in the making, and how he connects to Laura. The art highlights the characters expressions and new costume designs very well. While this issue mostly gives us backstory and setup, it's clear the payoff in upcoming issues will be worth the wait. Read Full Review

I absolutely love both logan and Laura and have loved this book so far. Laura's first few volumes are outstanding in my opinion and this book is doing a wonderful job expanding on the early years.

This was...fine I guess. Laura feels bad she used to be mean and lets some dude beat her up because of it. That's about it. Pronoun game in full effect here, which is fine but doesn't make sense how they choose who to call what in either this issue or issue #1, which is distracting. The art is fine in most of the book but really looks awful in some panels. Really just kinda boring.
