X-23 Deadly Regenesis #3 delves into Lauras history, exploring previously unrevealed events from writer Marjorie Lius series a dozen years ago. It reveals the perils of substance abuse and questions definitions of heroism. While Laura doesn't carry out any missions, or go a second round with Haymaker, richly detailed scenes and dramatic situations suggest that Kimura will deploy her living weapon soon. Read Full Review

This is a pretty slow issue, but if you're a fan of X-23 and familiar with her history, then seeing her in a verbal fight with her puppet master Kimura should be fun for you. Read Full Review
This continues to be absolutely phenomenal
The storytelling's decent, but not good enough to get over the slow pace. The creators want this to be brooding and meaningful, but it just comes off as ponderous.
I think the pacing problem is objective. I could get over it if I had any desire to revisit this stage of Laura's character development--but I very much don't.
