(Cover Date: October, 1987) Summary: X-Factor is angry at Hodge for his anti-mutant advertising campaign, which increased ant-mutant sentiments among the population. Because of that, Hodge is fired by Scott. Caliban feels that he is useless in a conflict unless he gains physical power. Hodge secretly monitors X-Factor as they prepare to go to the reading of Warren's will. They learn that Warren's fortune has been left to X-Factor but with the funds to be administered by Hodge. They tell Hodge that they quit. Outside, Trish Tilby tells X-Factor that Hodge was in charge of Warren's incompetency hearing. She wants to know why X-Factor hunts mutants since she is against it.
