Jun 29, 2011Once again, Prelude to Schism would have been a fine oversized one-shot. But by expanding such a limited concept to four issues, Jenkins just isn't able to provide the individual chapters with the meaty content they needed. Read Full Review

Jul 02, 2011The result of all this is that I now feel uncertain about Schism - if this is what it's all about, it might not be worth the effort. Read Full Review

Jun 30, 2011If you're a fan of Mann's art or an X-Men completest, then you'll probably buy this issue. But if you're neither of those things, you're better served waiting for the actual X-Men: Schism miniseries. Read Full Review

It takes four issues to do nothing interesting, say nothing interesting, and " I suspect " will ultimately fail to have any impact on "Schism" (or any other X-Men comic, for that matter). Trust me when I say you can give this one a wide berth and miss absolutely nothing worth seeing. Read Full Review

Another origin story retold + it repeats some scenes from the previous 3 issues and also repeats the same one message again and again so... Not really good. Not bad either, pretty motivational, but... Not like it was needed at all.
