The world is thinnest at The Crossroads, a mythical plane that serves as a doorway throughout the universe. It is here that a band of adventurers throughout the Wild West gather, brought together by Gord Cantrell and Abigail Redmayne with a singular purpose: to fight back against the creatures that would endanger the sanctity of all creation.

SHADOW ROADS is the set in the world that remains after the conclusion of Cullen Bunn, Brian Hurtt and Bill Crabtree's critically-acclaimed series, The Sixth Gun.

Horror Talk - James Ferguson Jul 3, 2018

Barry and Henry are just two of the handful of characters that make up the whole group. They begin to come together by the end of the issue, like pieces of a puzzle starting to form. They're not all in one place just yet, but there's enough movement and development to get you excited for more. This is an awesome way to start a series. These creators know how to handle a western horror comic, so I'm most definitely looking forwards to where Shadow Roads takes us. Read Full Review

    ComicBuzz - D. J. Baldock Aug 16, 2018

A fast and spirited (pun intended) introduction to this universe, Shadow Roads #1 gives us a cast of interesting characters and a nice smattering of supernatural lore. Although the speed of the story only gives us a little bit of time with some of the cast, further issues will undoubtably expand on this. Read Full Review

Bleeding Cool - Joshua Davison Jun 30, 2018

Shadow Roads #1 is an interesting sci-fi/fantasy/western with compelling leads and a mystery at the heart of the world that calls to be solved. This is a strong start and approachable to those unfamiliar with the finer details of the Sixth Gun canon like myself. Mix that with some solid artwork, and you have a book worth recommending. Check it out. Read Full Review

I didn't like it. Too dark for my taste.

Cover - The variant Nice & Related 2/2
Writing - I can tell, the story didn't interest me at first & then turn too dark. 1.5/3
Arts - The art isn't bad and put a little fun in all this. But I know French-Belgian Comics better than this. 2/3
    Feeling - Disappointed. I'm out. 0/2
