The Auteur is something different from the typical books you find on the shelf each week. There are no heroes and there are no villains (well except maybe for the serial killer, but he was found not guilty last issue!). But if you are looking for something off the beaten path, with fun art and an insane story that is "to die for," then this is your book. Parents, this one isn't for kiddies. Overall. In no way a book for the faint of heart or those that are easily offended, The Auteur consistently provides the most batsh*t insane comic-book reading experiences. As I said earlier, you will either love or hate this series, but either way you cant help but get dragged into the disgusting slapstick journey that its taking you on. Overall 8.5/10. This book is not a comfortable read by any means and the scary part is that this is only the beginning. It is this issue that takes this comic in a new and even more grotesque direction. If the Frederick Werthem Comics Code were alive today, they would hold up “Auteur #3″ as the leading example of the corruption of the innocent. They wouldnt be wrong, but then again, they never were very much fun, were they? Read Full Review
