Is The Auteur#4 perfect? No, definitely not; it gets jumpy, nonsensical and will be offensive to the thin-skinned, but you shouldn't come here looking for "perfection." I like this book. I really do. Its fun, it brings you to new crazy heights, and it portrays a compelling story while being exploitative of Hollywood. Taken together, these are the perfect ingredients for those that love a good satire that pushes your adrenal gland into overdrive.
