You've heard of alternate histories? Well Vikings vs. Unicorns is an alternate mythology, recasting everyone's favorite one-horned mythical icon of cuteness as a feral nightmare, endowed with immense powers and bent on destroying humanity. They are pitted against one of history's traditional villains, the Vikings, who are recast as humanity's grimly determined saviors. A whole lot of rainbow-colored blood is spattered across its opening pages and the fun just keeps raging on from there!

What it comes down too, honestly, is that this won't be a comic for everyone, and it's going to have those who love it and those who think it was written by an acid tripping sleep deprived writer. If the title intrigues you at all then give it a whirl; if you think the title is stupid then there's not much within that's likely to change your mind. If you do give this a chance, and I hope you do, then this is a comic that tells a story unlike anything from Marvel or DC, and that's refreshing. Read Full Review

Comic Bastards - Dustin Cabeal Apr 12, 2016

Overall, you'll know if this comic is for you based on the title alone. If you chuckle, then it's for you. If you read this review hoping that someone took the concept and made something hilarious and great, this isn't it. It's a basic comic. It's not all bad, but it's not all good either.
