    Solomon Kane: The Lion Errant is that rarest of all books; a sequel that lives up to the original that can also be enjoyed by newcomers. With a thrilling story and epic art, this is a must read for all comic readers. It is not just fans of Robert E. Howard and his work, though they will probably enjoy this one most of all.     This opening issue does a solid job of setting up the conflict between the warrior queen Rani Durgavati and the forces of Emperor Akbar, led by Ramih Khan and Asaf Khan. It also introduces the story’s supernatural elements through the mysterious Lopesh, whose appearance brings the issue to a thrilling cliffhanger. Read Full Review

Patrick Zircher’s artwork is absolutely exquisite in its detail, and his world-building is equally detailed, but you may find your mind occasionally wandering in a dialog-heavy issue.
