  All in all Joshua Black Issue 2 is a great read and truly something fun. While taking a concept that has been around awhile, the creative team have put their own distinct spin on it and given it a life of its own. They make you want to know what will happen next and have created characters that you really want to read more of. This is a series that if you are a fan of supernatural forces and the self-discovery of someone who has been given powers beyond comprehension.   I'm curious to see how the story of Joshua Black evolves, but at the same time I can't help but fell that the writers are just going to keep up the same game of cat and mouse with the plot. I'd like to tell people that this is a fantastic comic that deserves their attention, but as of yet the comic has simply written a check. Whether or not the check can be cashed is another story. As I said, the characters have potential, as does the story, but the comic is so bogged down by explanation and back story that it's having trouble breathing. Hopefully when the writers pull it out of the swamp of exposition, it will find the air to tell the fantastic story that it's capable of producing. Read Full Review
