Since the first issue, Archer & Armstrong has looked amazing, too, and that is thanks to Clayton Henry. This time around he is assisted by Pere Perez, but fear not, the art doesn't miss a step. It's just as stunning as always. Henry's action looks awesome, but he truly knocks it out of the park when it comes to the humor. The looks on characters' faces; the expressions and the reactions. That's where this book really shines. If you aren't buying Archer & Armstrong, then use that extra money you save each month to buy a hammer and hit yourself in the head. Read Full Review

Issue #4 continues the momentum with more laughs and action as we see Archer and Armstrong battle Nazi Monks. Yes you read that correctly "Nazi Monks" and they can throw down for sure. Clayton Henry does a superb job on art duties and I am loving the little info boxes that Valiant throws in during the fights scenes that will highlight the particular style the fighter is currently using. This is a creative team that knows their characters and keeps the story moving along like a freight train. They are proving to be among the best teams currently working and I don't doubt that their run has the potential to become a future classic. The third issue was good, but didn’t really do anything for me personally. This issue though was very strong and I liked it. I found it to be enjoyable and the character development for our main characters was substantial enough to keep me interested in the next story arc. The Eternal Warrior sounded like a good idea before, but now that I have more puzzle pieces I’m withholding my excitement until reading it. For now though, pick up this issue it’s good! ARCHER AND ARMSTRONG continues to be fantastic with issue 4. The book is a pretty big game changer for these two characters, and we get a ton of background info on both of them. This may not be the best place for new readers to jump on though. If you've been interested in picking up a Valiant book, all of which are incredibly good, this series would be my top pick for new readers. The colour work on this series has been excellent from the start. It really reflects the script in that it utilizes a wide range of colours and has playful buoyancy to it. A & A #4 will be one of the most colourful comics that you read this week. Guaranteed Read Full Review

And if you thought the plot was going to be wrapped up nicely with no loose ends. Nope. Plenty of surprises, even for the characters themselves. Secrets about Archer are revealed. There is more depth to his sister that was first implied. And what are the consequences of the death of a Geomancer, even it was by accident? A pretty funny one, at that.
