Excellent issue that gives us a taste of what is in store for us, Gilad, and Xaran. They have taken the fight to Earth itself and now they must face down the legion of swords at her command. You read this to see just how two of history's most feared warriors can survive the divine wrath that they have wrought. The intensity continues to pick up here and that is something that goes hand in hand with this type of story. Bad things are to come and bloodshed is all but inevitable considering how events are unfolding. This is one book you don't want to miss out on if you like a book that keeps you at the edge of your seat. The end of this issue surely will and what comes next is worth waiting for. Herotaku - Jamal Melancon Dec 15, 2013

Eternal Warrior #4 flawlessly capitalizes on its risky plot development last issue, naturally moving the story forward in a speedy pace. Greg Pak and Trevor Hairsine are a great duo, keeping the issue fresh and captivating, but Diego Bernard does drop his artwork in for a good portion of the issue. Accept that this series is going to deliver serious and superb stories across the time line, and you've got yourself a "must buy" book! Read Full Review

Comic Bastards - Steve Paugh Dec 19, 2013

The above is a relatively small complaint in what is an otherwise great issue, which has really turned me back on to the series as a whole. Good timing, really, since the end of this issue [SPOILER] teases a significant shunt into the future. I'm a sucker for when stories do that, and in general couldn't be happier to be back on-board with this book! Read Full Review

Multiversity Comics - David Harper Dec 20, 2013

It's an entertaining issue, but with 4001 coming, I have to admit, this issue did more to get me excited for the future (literally) than blow me away now. A good first step, though. Read Full Review

    Comics: The Gathering - kanchilr1 Dec 18, 2013

This tale is ultimately not worth the time of any modern reader. More interesting things are happening elsewhere in Valiant Universe, or in other books by Greg Pak. It is hard to recommend the issue at hand to anyone but those desperate for some new art by the amazing up and comer known as Diego Bernard. Read Full Review
