No words can really explain how you'd feel after reading this issue. The happiness was there, the emotion, the heartbreak, the shock. You just could not have seen this coming when you initially picked up this issue. Whatever this leads to, you will find yourself engaged in the story because if Joshua has not gotten your attention with that last act, you have to question if you have a soul. If you aren't reading this book right now, you are seriously missing out. Read Full Review
After re-reading Harbinger #15 I like it even more. This issue hits all the right notes, with beautiful flow and touches of fun and action. The dynamic between how the book begins and how devastating it ends makes it a great read. Valiant is doing everything right in their universe and Harbinger leads the way. It's fun, engaging and shockingly dramatic. The issue sets the tone for the new story arc and you can't afford to pass it by. Read Full Review
There is sadly so much I still want to say about the story and the art, especially the art, but I can't. I can't because it would ruin a huge chunk of the story for you and that would be horrible of me. If you enjoyed the last story arc and thought, "how can it get any better?" Well" just wait until you read this issue. Also I'm totally going to bust Dysart for his flub on local landmarks since he has the gang start in Venice and end up in Santa Monica with seemingly no travel time in-between and with the character mentioning that they can't fly during the day, just saying! HARBINGER #15's a super offbeat issue that'll make you laugh along with the characters as they do whatever ridiculous stuff they need to do to have a blast in California. All good things must come to an end, though, and eventually Dysart throws us in the book's brand new direction. If you're even kind of interested in the world of Harbinger, then this is an issue you absolutely cannot miss. Read Full Review
"Perfect Day" part one definitely was a great start for a new arc and good jump on point. The art was good and I applaud Kiston changing things up with his art. It works and fits this crew. As for the writing, Dysart continues to deliver some of the best written comics today and this issue is one of his best to date. My only problem being the costume thing is a minor gripe in the larger scheme of things. Excellent pacing. Great character development. Interesting plot. Gripping characters. Vibrant art. And one hell of an ending makes Harbinger # 15 a GREAT comic. Read Full Review
Readers do not be fooled from the opening pages of this issue. This is the most depressing issue of the title yet. While I commend Dysart for making some bold choices, the flaws wrapped with the characters in this title keep me at arms length from the humanity of this book. Read Full Review
Thus, while "Harbinger" #15 doesn't lack for punch, it sacrifices too much character development and subtlety to achieve its effects. Read Full Review
