This is a strange issue because I can and can't really recommend it to new readers because it requires you knowing so much about the past story arcs, but in a weird way it also catches you up on the events. I still think you'd benefit from going back and reading from Harbinger Wars, but if you're new to the series then don't be afraid to jump on here as the newest arc is beginning. As good as the last few issues have been, this issue really gets back up to the standard and pacing the series has become known for. Harbinger is Valiant's most consistent and thought provoking title and this issue is a demonstration of all it's unique qualities. This is a title to look forward to each month because you never know what's coming and will keep you on your toes for the unexpected. Highly entertaining and a consistently great read. This untold story was one worth telling. Not only to fill in missing gaps in this story, but give us a better understanding of what is going on at this moment. Everyone is being affected by the events occurring right now and that is the world which has been shaping around them since the start. Much to look forward to as the story continues to change hands. If you thought last issue was crazy, wait until you read this one. Dysart continues to put the work and effort into this book, and it shows. Teamed up with Clayton Henry, this can only be a comic book fans dream of. This series just hit must read status. Read Full Review
Clayton Henry steps into the art duties this issue, and his work is solid, as usual. His careful linework is clean and fluid, giving a the world a slick look. That's both good and bad. The comic looks great, for sure, but we are told over and over how tired Harada is, but he never looks it. There's no sense of the world being lived in, everything just looks a bit too perfect. That said, the scenes involving the cartoon projects of a young psionic are spectacular. I'm excited to see more of that stuff in upcoming issues. Read Full Review
