And so...the unstoppable X-O Manowar enters the fray!

From East to West, the nation has been cleaved down the middle as Livewire's defensive attack on the U.S. power grid envelops America in darkness and sets the stage for the biggest clash of powers ever witnessed... On one side, Peter Stanchek's ragtag team of Renegades - alongside their newly activated army of untrained and wildly unstable psiots - ready themselves for an unsparing firefight with H.A.R.D. A lot of things happen in Harbinger Wars 2 #2. I'm not sure that I would say that we can see where this is heading in terms of a big clash or anything decisive, but right now we do see how far both sides are willing to go to fight for their people. Still an uphill fight for the psiots, and the anticipation is high to see how they can manage to turn things in their favor. Read Full Review

It happens. Just not typically to this publisher. Read Full Review

Comics Bookcase - Zack Quaintance Jun 26, 2018

Harbinger Wars #2 has just enough action as it builds toward what is presumably a gigantic climax in the final two issues of this event. Kindt and Giorello especially excel here at giving character interactions and conflicts the weight an event story deserves. Read Full Review

All in all, there was little in the way of progression in this issue, and whilst I enjoyed the minor story beats it felt like we were being set up for more in the next issue. Im still a huge fan of the art style and story so far in the series, I just wish this issue was fleshed out a little more. Read Full Review
