    ComicBook.com - Matthew Mueller May 30, 2018

Harbinger Wars 2 could very well have been another also-ran event with a catchy title, but so far it is putting the emphasis on the grounded relationships of its cast and a familial throughline that just about any mentor or parent could empathize with. Read Full Review

Come for the incredibly tense and entertaining story, stay for the subtle commentary on our times"exactly as a book about outcasts persecuted by vast governmental power structures should be. This issue is all rising action, bringing in power players and stopping just short of slamming together. I can't wait for No. 2. Read Full Review

Comic Crusaders - Johnny "The Machine" Hughes May 16, 2018

Valiant fans will love this book; all their favourites are on show and with the promise of other heroes and teams on the verge of introduction, sides have never been more cluttered or the reasons for choosing more complex. It does make you wonder how Kindt would handle that other threat to national security…..mutants. So until Kindt, makes his Marvel, enjoy the complexities of heroes living in a non-heroic world where actions carry their own level of political gain and public retribution. Read Full Review

Harbinger Wars 2 #1 is a great start to the event with the way the situation is laid out. Livewire's actions are monumental so it's good this issue took time to address the consequences of them. It doesn't address the consequences affecting the entire world or at least the general population. However, I'm looking forward to next issue and seeing how things unfold now that the various sides are defined. Geeked Out Nation - Jideobi Odunze May 30, 2018

It's hard to say if I should be cheering for Livewire and the rest of these psiots or fear for them. Harbinger Wars 2 #1 set the stage for what is to be a hell of an uphill battle for this group of people who might have gotten too ahead of themselves in this war for survival. But then again, isn't that when those like them are at their most dangerous? This will definitely get worse before it gets any better when everyone is looking to make that big powerplay or show of strength early on. Read Full Review
