Dodgy use of a British slang term aside, this is an incredible comic from everybody involved, and easily my favourite story we've had in the series to this point (when weighed against the first two issues of each arc so far). Kindt has taken a frankly one dimensional typical 90's character in Ninjak and has crafted an Akira Kurosawa style story, that has really exceeded all expectations and has left this reader happy and excited for the next issue. By far my favourite book of this week. Read Full Review

In the end, despite some very, very minor problems Ninjak #24is a great issue that will leave you wanting for more! The mix between new elements and traditional style in this comic is what makes it attractive and so captivating. The new story arc for Ninjakhas yet to disappoint. Seven Samuraiis a classic, and this Ninjak is able to pay homage to that movie right. These seven people, although incredibly deadly, face a nearly impossible task to accomplish. Some will survive, and some may fall. It is a story told time and time again; however, the story is being told fresh and fun way. The next few issues should be a blast and totally worth a read. Read Full Review

Ninjak's doing some interesting work here even if I'm not fully on board with it just yet. I liked the setup in the previous issue while also being frustrated with it and I like what we get here with its own frustrations, mostly just in how fast a lot of this is moving and the lack of real weight given to aspects of it. I'm definitely intrigued by Sandria and what she represents but not enough to try and figure out the rest of the sprawling Valiant universe to figure it out. The storyline is definitely coming together well and I like the potential of it all with the mission that's now revealed and Colin's place in it, which has two potential positives at the end of it for him to hope for with both Roku and Darque. There's a certain amount of convenience to Kindt's brisk pacing -- Ninjak goes from unwilling combatant to team player in mere panels -- but it's so easy to get caught up in the writer's intricate fantasy that it's forgivable. Read Full Review

Much of what is revealed here supports theories of Ninjak's connection to the Shadow Seven, but Kindt also introduces new elements which bring the story dangerously close to the cliche work of the Big Two. With the reemergence of Sandra Darque " sister of Master Darque " comes a tired and corny speech of how Ninjak is the key because he is pure of heart and blah, blah, blah.
