These last bunch of issues have been really good. I love the idea of the characters becoming aware of comics continuity and what happens to characters when they get written out of it, however my only qualm with this is that it would work just as well in any other character's story. There is nothing unique to Animal Man about it, and these past issues haven't really focused on Animal Man's powers whatsoever.
