An ordinary suburban family deals with an alien invasion of their world by powerful monsters from outer spaceonly this family lives on Zirros, throneworld of the Zirr Empire, and the invaders are those violent superhumans, the First Family. Bullets wont stop them. The army cant stop them. Who can stop The Menace from Earth?
Despite the few flaws, this comic is still fun to read. The story is unique with interesting characters and how they see the world around them. It's something I recommend people to check it out if you're looking for something different in comics. "Astro City" #29 is another strong, fun issue from a fairly consistent series. I love how Busiek and Anderson don't shy away from stories that don't have easy, simple answers, and this one is no exception. I'm looking forward to see what happens next in December; if you haven't read "Astro City" in a while, this is a good place to check it out for yourself. Read Full Review
I have a strong hunch about how the storyline will unfold but even so Busiek and Anderson sell me on the concept within the first few panels of the comic. I'll definitely be coming back for more of Zozat and those damn dirty humans. Worth a look. Read Full Review
