Astro City #16

I admit it, this issue might have had me a little misty a time or two, and the use of Busiek's old script emphasizes the archetypical nature of the heroes of Astro City, where you can tell a tale that reminds you of Doctor Strange, or Superman, or even (as with last issue) your Grandma while still maintaining cohesive and compelling stories. All in all Astro City #16 is a quality issue and one of the few comics I highly recommend anyone to read, even if that reader is starting to get into comics. The story was well written with interesting new characters to get invested in. Creativity and uniqueness are key, something which they have nailed consistently. Read Full Review

The result is another great addition to the current Astro City series, a heartfelt message to those still struggling to find themselves during adolescence, and a hero in Starbright who I hope to see much more of in the future. Must-read. Read Full Review

Sweet story. Almost felt like an After-School-Special. Maybe not the most mind blowing issue you've ever read, but a solid issue.
