Its Halloween night, and something wicked and powerful is stirring beneath the streets of Glasgow. Join Isla on the day she meets a bloodthirsty army she thought was a myth and breaks the heart of the only man she ever loved. Innocents are slaughtered, a demigod is crowned king, and history is rewritten in the second issue of this new series!
I still stand by all of my positive feelings from the first issue. Red Thorn #2 is a seamless follow up to the first issue and I like that we get to see the first glimpses of Thorn's personality and Isla's path to something terrible. It's a fantastic work of urban fantasy and it also has these tense moments that pull the series a bit closer towards outright horror than you'd expect. We don't know what to expect in the future of Red Thorn and that's definitely part of its charm. Read Full Review
This is a satisfying second issue that brings a nice sense of magic and mystery as Isla uncovers what she has done. Read Full Review
Full frontal sexy God. This is my favourite comic and NO ONE can take it away from me.
Great writing, great art, great cover, great lettering, great colours.
My only complaint is... No - I'm only joking. No complaints at all.
10/10
Teenage girls would love it. I don't know how many teenage girls it'll reach, though.
